Rightly 6th Pay Commission has suggested the required increase in pay of government officers / staff, army personnel including educational institutions, PSU etc. Just because of high pay package being offered by private sector especially multinational companies, deserving candidates are choosing their jobs and in government jobs the required skill is not forthcoming. Security and Pension are two big factors in government jobs; even if pay scales are little lesser one should now opt for these jobs. Moreover, there is a power in the high post too in government jobs.

The financial burden on the government exchequer shall be somewhat set off by taxes collected on higher pay scales. Besides, more cash available with these government officials their spending levels will be higher, in turn indirect taxes like service tax etc shall too be collected out of higher salaries.

It should be ensured that services in return in government offices to the public shall now be much better and hassle free-though it is big dream but it can be a realistic too if all government officers decide so. They have just to remember that "Mera Bharat Mahan, Kaam key badley deta hai pura paisa bhi".
