NOTIFICATION No.17 (RE-2008)/2004-09

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule-I (Imports) to the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09:

1. Import Licensing Note no, (2) inserted at the end of Chapter 25, inserted vide Notification No. 17 (RE-2007)/ 2004-09 dated 26th July 2007 will be amended to read as follows:

“Import of marble will be subject to the conditions laid down in Policy Circular No.12 (RE-08)/2004-2009 dated 27.06. 2008.”

3. This issues in public interest.
